I have always felt privileged and proud to be a nurse. I married a nurse, now my daughter is almost becoming a nurse. The privilege is in being allowed to be with other people at good and difficult times in their lives and to be able to try and make a difference. We don’t always get it right, but we are there. Now I have the privilege of teaching new nursing students.
